Great for families with kids! Disney's Caribbean Beach is a tropical paradise located near Typhoon Lagoon water park within the Epcot Resort Area. After opening on October 1, 1988, Caribbean Beach Resort has 6 different "villages" and is spread around Barefoot Bay, a 45-acre lake. Heads up: this resort is pretty spread out and does have a lot of walking.
