Universal Hollywood Announces SUPER NINTENDO WORLD
Mark your calendars: the first SUPER NINTENDO WORLD in the U.S. is set to open at Universal Studios Hollywood, and Cupcake Castles Travel Company CAN GET YOU THERE! The Nintendo-themed land is already under construction and will open sometime in 2023, and you can be one of the first to experience it!
What will SUPER NINTENDO WORLD at Universal Studios Hollywood be?
Super Nintendo World will be an innovative and immersive themed land with all of your favorite Nintendo characters including Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, and more! The land first opened up at Universal Studios Japan at the end of last year, and will next make its way to Hollywood so you can become part of their compelling universe! The immersive land will be a "visual spectacle of vibrant colors and architectural ingenuity located within a newly expanded area of the theme park, featuring a groundbreaking ride and interactive areas." Themed shopping & dining will also be available to fully immerse you in the Nintendo experience.
Will there be a Super Nintendo World at Universal Orlando Resort?
There is no exact opening date for the Nintendo land at Universal Orlando Resort just yet, but is slated to be one of the many lands at Universal Orlando's new 750-acre theme park, Universal's Epic Universe. Universal’s Epic Universe is scheduled to open in early 2025.

SUPER NINTENDO WORLD IN JAPAN
The first Super Nintendo World opened in March 2021 at Universal Studios Japan in Osaka. The Japanese theme park offers real-life Mario Kart racing, an indoor attraction in which players ride in vehicles rolling on tracks speeding through your very own Mario Kart race course, and a treasure hunt with Yoshi. Many say that the park is a completely surreal experience pushing technological boundaries, and we can't wait to see what it looks like when it opens here in the United States.
Though Universal Studios Hollywood did not name specific attractions we can expect, we know it will be amazing nonetheless.
Ahead of the opening, you can get excited and ready for the Nintendo-themed land with exclusive Nintendo merchandise at the Feature Presentation retail shop - including "iconic character hats," clothing, and plushies. More details to follow.
