The land first opened up at Universal Studios Japan at the end of last year, and has now made its way to Hollywood so you can become part of their compelling universe! WILL THERE BE A SUPER NINTENDO WORLD AT UNIVERSAL ORLANDO RESORT?

There is no exact opening date for the Nintendo land at Universal Orlando Resort just yet, but is slated to be one of the many lands at Universal Orlando's new 750-acre theme park, Universal's Epic Universe. Universal’s Epic Universe is scheduled to open in early 2025.

WHAT does SUPER NINTENDO WORLD HAVE?

The immersive, state-of-the-art experience will have attractions that put you in the driver's seat (literally) on Mario Kart: Bowser's Challenge. Interactive gameplay experiences will be available throughout the Mushroom Kingdom and you'll have a wearable "power up" band that that will bring game moments to life.

Mario Kart: Bowser’s Challenge: the main attraction. To get to the ride, you must pass through Bowser’s Castle. It is a race of Team Mario v. Team Bowser layered over a racing coaster in augmented reality.

Toadstool Cafe: Super Nintendo World’s signature restaurant. Its entryway is shaped like a giant red-capped mushroom! "From the Queue experience to the dining area and the food itself, this was a highlight of our day. Such yummy options - we wanted to try everything they had but settled for just a few options each. The pesto sauce on the Luigi chicken burger was amazing and I loooooved the Princess Peach cupcake. So good! They currently only have lunch/dinner menu options but they are open as soon as the park opens - so plan accordingly. As the park gets busier they hand out ‘return time windows’ to get in line to order. We had a wait time of about 2 hours so we played collected coins with our power up bands and grabbed a popcorn refill (that Star Popcorn Bucket lights up and includes unlimited refills the day of purchase!)" - Kerry
